Education, study and practice
My current focus is a strong school-leaving qualification as preparation for industrial engineering. I see the degree as a way to understand business and technology together.
My goals and vision for the future
This is where I describe where I stand today and what I want to build towards. I share what I am working on, what interests me and where I want to grow next.
Strategy
I am Simon, and this is where I share my projects. I am interested in physics, data analysis and technology in general. Business and finance fascinate me most, because they make the links between decisions, systems and numbers so visible.

02 | Capital
Financial independence means security and the freedom to make my own decisions about projects and priorities over the long term.
03 | Execution
I use programming and data analysis to make complex economic relationships tangible in tools I build myself. I prefer to keep building real applications and learn what matters along the way.
The foundation for my future
Over the next few years, I want to build a foundation I can keep working from. That means subject knowledge, financial independence and personal maturity. I want to develop skills I can use confidently in my own projects.
For me, the key is the interaction between economic thinking and technical execution. Numbers, data, markets and software belong together. At that intersection, I want to build tools that make complex relationships understandable and useful.
Connect economic thinking with technical
execution and turn it into
real results.
The bigger goal
Education and direction
I know that I want to move towards industrial engineering after school. The combination of technical execution and economic logic appeals to me, so I am currently focusing on a strong school-leaving qualification.
The degree should be a tool. I want to understand economic relationships and eventually execute projects myself. My goal is to assess ideas and know how to build, test and improve them in practice.
To do that, I want to develop a broad range of skills, including technical knowledge as well as rhetoric, communication and negotiation. I want to keep learning in all of these areas.
Financial freedom
Financial freedom is one of my goals. To me, success means security, independence and the ability to shape my life more deliberately. I want to choose which projects I pursue, how I work and where I invest my time.
That is why business and finance interest me so much. I want to understand how money, companies, markets and decisions work, then make these topics more tangible through my own tools, data analyses and dashboards.
Success is not a status symbol to me.
Success means the freedom to choose.
Technology
At the same time, I am expanding my skills in software development and modern technologies. C and C++ were my first programming languages. I used them to build small games and discovered how exciting it is to turn an idea into a real program. To publish these projects on the web, I learned HTML, CSS and some JavaScript.
Today I am especially interested in artificial intelligence, data analysis, blockchain and web applications. To me, these are tools for solving economic and technical problems in a useful way. My website grows with each new project and serves as a presentation and archive of what I learn and build.
Projects
I like working through projects because building is where I learn the most. Small applications, web projects, simple games, analyses and dashboards help me turn theory into practice. When I develop something myself, I understand much faster where the real problems are.
I make these projects available publicly so that others can benefit from a tool, visualisation or small project too. One grand idea is not the point. I care more about getting steadily better and gaining practical experience through many smaller projects.
I analyse data and build my own tools to understand relationships better and make complex topics easier for myself and others to follow. In the long term, I can see myself building smaller projects or a company alongside my studies and later career. Carefully developed products with genuine value matter more to me than rapid growth.
How I work
My way of working combines technical execution with strategic thinking. I want to understand how a system works, where its weaknesses are and how to recreate or improve it myself. That combination of understanding and execution is central to me.
I am mainly driven by the desire for financial independence, knowledge and freedom. I want to create the option to decide for myself over the long term which projects I pursue and how I spend my time. That is why I try to gain practical experience early.
Understand systems,
build them yourself and learn from them.
The horizon
I do not know exactly what the next few years will look like. The direction I want to work towards is clear.
In three years
In ten years
I learn from my projects, keep improving them and grow along the way.
